Visualization types
Data Hub visualizations fall into two categories: Trend Analysis — tracks one or more variables over time:- Single Point Line / Bar Trend Analysis (one variable)
- Multi Point Line / Bar Trend Analysis (multiple variables)
- Heatmap Analysis (data intensity across time or other dimensions)
- Bar Chart Comparison
- Portfolio Comparison (proportional, hierarchical view)
Setup vs. View
Every visualization has two distinct surfaces:- Setup — where the visualization is configured (which variables, time window, chart type, filters).
- View — the actual public-facing URL of the rendered visualization, used for digital signage displays and web embeds.
This page is a stub for the exact Setup workflow (where in the navigation to create a new visualization, how to select variables and a chart type step by step). That click-by-click walkthrough hasn’t been written up yet — see Sharing & Exporting for how a finished visualization’s View link is used for embedding or digital signage.
