# Change History in Data Hub

> Data Hub does not version datasets or dashboards. Change history is tracked per metered entity and variable via the Logs tab instead.

Every metered entity and variable has a **Logs** tab: an audit trail of changes and activity, including user-added notes, timestamps, and a description of what changed. See [Core Concepts](/core-concepts#logs) for the full picture. Logs can be filtered by date and browsed chronologically using Newest / Newer / Older / Oldest navigation controls, but there's no diff view or restore-to-previous-state action — it's a record of what happened, not a reversible version history.
