# GLOS

> GLOS data source — split out from the Data Sources overview

  **Status: Upstream reference only.** GLOS (Great Lakes Observing System) exposes its data over a public REST API — no credentials are required to read observational data. Registering a GLOS data source inside Data Hub itself isn't written up yet.
