# Manage Users in Data Hub

> Data Hub access is invite-only. An organization's Admin invites Users and there is currently no self-serve signup, custom roles, or SSO.

Data Hub's access model is intentionally simple — see [Core Concepts](/core-concepts#roles) for the full picture.

* An **Admin** is associated with the entity responsible for an organization's account, and invites/manages the **Users** who can access that organization's data.
* There is **no public self-serve signup** for joining an existing organization — a would-be user must be invited by an Admin.
* There are currently only **two roles** — Admin and User. More granular, custom permission sets are on the roadmap but not available today.

  This page is a stub for the exact invite flow (where in the UI an Admin adds a new User, and what information is required). That click-by-click walkthrough hasn't been written up yet.

  There is no SSO/SAML provisioning, bulk CSV invite, or user-management API endpoint confirmed to exist today. If your organization needs one of these, treat it as a feature request rather than an existing capability.
